Five Things Friday – Rain Boots

With just under a week before my Portland trip I am feeling the urgency for some new rain boots. I bought some last Fall when it literally poured in Atlanta for 100 days straight but they are not the most comfortable for doing a ton of walking. I also hate shoes that tie up my feet so I honestly have no idea why I bought them. Until this past year we haven’t gotten a ton of consistent rain living in the South so I never really had to think about a rain boot that was comfortable yet not ugly AF but there are a ton of fun ones out there. It kind of makes me wish the rain would stick around but then I look at my house with two kids tearing it up because we can’t go outside and that thought immediately removes itself from my brain. The basic black are great for year round but the yellow and floral are perfect for Spring. The best part is that these are all under $100. Monday Outfit of the Day

Evelyn’s Easter outfit is so beautiful this year that I almost can’t wait another month to see her in it. This lovely twirl dress in mint dot is from the amazing Holley + Sage. Every piece is hand crafted by Jennifer in Charlotte and is truly unique. This fabric is lightweight and breathable which means Evie can wear is throughout the summer. I also love how the straps in the back can be adjusted to grow with your baby and this dress will fit her for at least another year. If you are a mama to two (or more) girls, the mint dress coordinates with this baby romper and would make the cutest matching combo.

Holley + Sage launches her Spring line tomorrow and I cannot wait to see all the sweet pieces. Jennifer used to be a designer for Pottery Barn Kids so you know her taste and style is impeccable. All of the blouses are on my Evelyn’s wish list for summer, those feminine ruffle sleeves are too much.

Evie’s flower crown is from the sweetest shop, Baker Blossoms. I have loved getting to know Sarah and her adorable twin girls through Instagram. Not only is everything in her shop so beautifully crafted but she will work with you to create your own custom flower crown, headband, bow tie, etc. I was trying to find the perfect head piece to match the dress and Sarah created this wonderful crown for Evelyn with coordinating colors.

Five Things Friday – Easter for Girls

We are just over four weeks away until Easter which means there are cute bunny things everywhere. Target is killing it with their Easter decor, as usual, and if you are hosting at your home this year, there are some great options for a creating a beautiful floral tablescape at some great prices. Putting together Easter baskets for the kids is one of my favorite things (you can see what I chose last year and the year before). Today I’m sharing some cute things for baby and toddler girls. You know I love a good baby bonnet and Briar Handmade makes the best ones. Their Spring line is to die for with so many beautiful patterns. The egg crayons would be a great addition to a boys or girls basket and since Evelyn is still too young for crayons, I will probably end up adding those to Henry’s basket. buy depakote online https://bethanyhealthcare.org/wp-content/languages/new/depakote.html no prescription
The greatest Easter goody I have found though is this Linen Bunny Apron. It is so feminine and girly and perfect for any little girl (if she has a play kitchen it’s even better!) The best of all, it’s under $20 with free shipping and she can use all year long. I hope everyone has a great weekend! We are finally getting some sunshine here in Atlanta and hopefully spending some time outdoors. buy cymbalta online https://bethanyhealthcare.org/wp-content/languages/new/cymbalta.html no prescription

Little Standout Teethers

When I came across Little Standout on Instagram I knew I had to have some of their teethers for Evelyn. They were gracious enough to send me their top designs for a review. Confession: I have always hated teethers. Most I’ve seen are unappealing and the freezer ones with water are so annoying when they sweat. No wonder my kids have never liked any. Right off the bat I was drawn to the Little Standout teethers because they are not like any I’ve seen. The colors are so eye popping and fun and their shape and feel are perfect for baby senses. They are also extremely durable. My 3.5 year old son even plays with these when Evelyn isn’t around and he is not the most gentle creature. He loves pretending to take pictures of the family (but mostly himself) with the camera. Did I mention they are all dishwasher safe? Perfect for when there are multiple kids in the house and your toddler keeps trying to have the dog play tug o war with them. buy dilantin online https://bethanyhealthcare.org/wp-content/languages/new/dilantin.html no prescription

Not only are they great teethers but they double as toys for Evelyn. I use the term toy loosely because at 13.5 months, she is mostly a roamer. She loves wandering around the play room and house exploring. Her new favorite game is picking things up and bringing them to me but actually refusing to let me take them from her. Aside from toys and tug o war, these really are great soothers for her poor little gums. We have been in the thick of the teething crisis. She has her top molars coming in on both sides, her sleep schedule is off and it seems like she is in pain for several hours throughout the day. I’ve been keeping one of these teethers in the freezer and giving it to her first thing in the morning since she’s been waking up crying out in pain. The cold silicone definitely provide her some comfort while I make her breakfast. I highly recommend ordering more than one because you will need them! buy doxycycline online https://bethanyhealthcare.org/wp-content/languages/new/doxycycline.html no prescription

The folks over at Little Standout have generously offered a coupon code for 15% off all teethers. Use CHANEL15 at checkout until March 31. If you are past the teething age these would make a perfect baby shower gift. You can pick from several colors and they are all gender neutral. I guarantee the mama to be would much rather open these then her 20th bib that says “Mommy’s Little Angel” on them. Now, back to teaching Evelyn how to properly sit like a lady. Enjoy your hump day, friends! xo

Monday Outfit of the Day

Today I bring you one of my favorite made in the USA shops for rompers: Remie & Co! The fringe romper is their number one seller and this teal color is the third that Evelyn has owned. I love that they are free of snaps, buttons and zippers, making them extra gentle for baby skin. They usually sell out in a matter of days but fret not, there is a restock coming this week! I am swooning over the summer Betty Rompers. They would be perfect for the beach since they are so lightweight and breathable. They’re also versatile for severals seasons. Add a cardigan in fall or sleeveless in the spring. buy fosamax online https://bethanyhealthcare.org/wp-content/languages/new/fosamax.html no prescription

These sweet shoes are by Zuzii. I purchased them on sale back in January since I have a thing for baby Mary Janes. Zuzii shoes are handmade in Los Angeles and come in baby, child and women sizes. I would love to twin with the kiddos in the Oxford Contrast Stripe. Any of these adorable shoes would make the perfect baby gift or look great in an Easter basket.

You know I can’t let Evelyn out of the house without a bow. Lately I am a huge fan of the nylon band. It’s so stretchy and soft and never leaves a mark on her head. I came across Sweet Baby Paige on Instagram (of course) and this black and white bow just spoke to my monochrome loving heart. I purchased for Valentine’s Day but since the colors are neutral it works year round. buy finasteride online https://bethanyhealthcare.org/wp-content/languages/new/finasteride.html no prescription

Gingham for Girls

Seeing all of these gingham prints definitely has me feeling the early Spring vibe. I cannot believe that there are only two more weeks left in February. I’ll need to jam pack all of the kids winter outfits into these next few weeks since it looks like we don’t have much of a winter left. All of these bright colors has me pumped for warmer weather. There are not many things cuter than a baby girl in classic red and white check. How precious is that skirt with pom poms on the bottom? buy glucophage online https://bethanyhealthcare.org/wp-content/languages/new/glucophage.html no prescription
And that romper has been screaming my name since I found it last week. These would make perfect Easter or Fourth of July outfits for your little one. Easy Toddler Meals + Snacks

Now that Evelyn is 13 months old she has been eating more of the foods that Henry eats. They may require some more chopping but it is so nice not having to make separate meals. By no means am I a recipe creator and I  didn’t go to culinary school. I’m just your average mom struggling to make mealtime less of a challenge. I’ve spent hours pinning easy and healthy recipes and honestly have only tried a handful. Life is busy, being a mom is crazy busy. We need things we can make before our three year olds have a complete meltdown and our entire morning is wasted putting them in timeout while trying to make sure our second baby, bless their heart, actually gets served breakfast. Here are some snacks and meals we have been enjoying lately. buy imodium online https://bethanyhealthcare.org/wp-content/languages/new/imodium.html no prescription

Brown Rice Cakes topped with peanut butter, sliced bananas and chocolate sprinkles
Dark Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding with coconut pieces*
Raspberries
*pudding recipe (from He and She Eat Clean): 1/2 quart dark chocolate almond milk, 1/2 cup chia seeds. Stir milk and seeds together in tupperware container and refrigerate overnight (at least 8 hours). Scoop to serve and top with fresh fruit, coconut flakes or chopped almonds.
Chocolate Almond Butter Smoothie
A morning staple in our house is smoothies. They are so easy to make and I split them three ways between the kids and myself. There are probably fifteen billion smoothie recipes out there, but the kids favorite is 8 ounces whole milk, 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup, 2 tablespoons almond butter, 1 scoop of plant based vanilla protein powder, 1 banana and 1 tablespoon chia seeds. I also throw in a handful of ice cubes to make sure it’s extra chilled and refreshing. This is packed with protein and is the perfect morning pick me up to fuel all of our brains. I split 3 ways so each serving has 222 calories and 14 grams of protein, making it very healthy. You could also top with a few raspberry’s, strawberries, banana slices or chocolate sprinkles to make it more appealing if you have a picky eater!
buy imuran online https://bethanyhealthcare.org/wp-content/languages/new/imuran.html no prescription

Zoodles with Parmesan, Carrots and Peas

This has to be one of the easiest meals that the whole family can share. Everything can be made in under 30 minutes or ahead of time. If you do not have a julienne slicer, you can buy pre sliced zucchini at a local Whole Foods. The veggies are both steam in a bag, each taking 5 minutes. Boil the zoodles for 2-3 minutes or until soft. Strain and place in bowl with cheese and veggies (which can be substituted out for others).
Banana Oat Bran Muffins with Cranberry

There are various recipes for oat bran muffins out there: sugar free, gluten free, flour free etc. I use this one from food.com and omit the raisins and add cranberries. You can also substitute the banana for another fruit (peaches or blueberries!) and add in walnuts or chocolate chips. The possibilities are endless. Next time I’ll be sneaking in some spinach or kale so the kids can get some greens.

A few months ago I wrote about some great finger foods for babies to eat. We still keep all those in the house and have added a few more to our growing list of items to always have on hand:

Steams in the bag in 5 minutes and they are the perfect bite size pieces for tiny fingers and mouths
great for on the go or while having your baby/toddler self feed
Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
another great finger food babies and toddlers that can feed themselves
for morning toast or a PB&J
Henry loves this oatmeal and has it about twice a week for breakfast. I top with fresh blueberries or bananas.
String Cheese
another easy and healthy snack for Henry

I hope this post has been helpful to fellow moms out there! I love reading what other parents feed their little ones and am always on the hunt for new recipes and ideas. Please share any meals or snacks that your kids love 🙂 buy isofair online https://bethanyhealthcare.org/wp-content/languages/new/isofair.html no prescription
