I couldn’t think of a more fitting outfit for this post today since we are now officially in May. April showers bring May flowers, right? This floral romper and dress from Love Girls Dress are some of my favorite pieces for Evelyn to wear lately. I love pairing the romper with a chambray button up for chilly mornings and sneakers for a playdate. The fabric is airy and breathable, making it perfect for those upcoming Atlanta summers. Spring Dresses Under $40

Can it be Friday again? This weekend went by way too fast but was so fun. We were able to celebrate with friends at three separate parties: a 3rd birthday for a friend of Henry’s, a co-ed baby shower for some dear friends and surprise 60th birthday for one of my oldest friends mother. There was definitely a lot of love this weekend and I’m so glad we were able to attend them all. The weather was beautiful and it had me thinking that Evelyn should probably have a few more dresses in her wardrobe. She wears mostly rompers, tops, shorts and leotards but rarely any dresses. Flutter sleeves with pom poms are all over the place this season. They add the perfect girly touch! All of these dresses would be so cute paired with jellies or converse, especially that black and white stripe. Happy second day of Spring! It feels a little funny saying that since the temp was 37 degrees when I woke up this morning and is still a bit cold. However I was happy for the colder weather because it means Evelyn finally can wear her Childhoods dress which she got for Christmas! I purchased the 12-18 month size and luckily it runs pretty big so she can enjoy it well into Fall and it’s lightweight enough to wear on chilly Spring mornings as well. They also have great pullovers for boys and 90% of their items are all unisex.

I have been a fan of Childhoods skinny sweats since right before Evelyn was born. They make the softest and most comfortable clothing for babies, kids and even adults. I’m hoping they bring back more rompers and dresses this summer because they are so cute on toddler girls. Every piece is designed by a husband and wife team out of Houston, TX and locally produced. Monday Outfit of the Day

This Monday has been a tough one. I took the red eye home from Portland last night and got zero sleep on the flight. I feel like I’ll be recovering for a month (hashtag I’m getting old). Luckily I had two little balls of sunshine greeting me this morning and the Atlanta weather has turned out to be similar to what Portland was having so it’s kind of like still being there 🙂

Today’s outfit post features Vivis Jewels. I had my eye on the swan romper for weeks last year before purchasing it and I am so glad I did. The size I bought was 6-12 months and at 14 months, Evelyn can still wear it. The adjustable straps are perfect for growing with your baby or toddler. It’s handmade with a performance knit so it’s really soft and lightweight and almost feels a bit silky to the touch. I am so happy this still fits her this year because it’s a piece that I just adore. Hello and happy Monday friends! The sun is shining and it is a beautiful day here in Atlanta, which is great because I have a ton of things to cross of my list before going out of town. Why is it that getting ready for a vacation feels like a full time job? Evelyn’s Easter outfit is so beautiful this year that I almost can’t wait another month to see her in it. This lovely twirl dress in mint dot is from the amazing Holley + Sage. Every piece is hand crafted by Jennifer in Charlotte and is truly unique. This fabric is lightweight and breathable which means Evie can wear is throughout the summer. I also love how the straps in the back can be adjusted to grow with your baby and this dress will fit her for at least another year. If you are a mama to two (or more) girls, the mint dress coordinates with this baby romper and would make the cutest matching combo.

Holley + Sage launches her Spring line tomorrow and I cannot wait to see all the sweet pieces. Jennifer used to be a designer for Pottery Barn Kids so you know her taste and style is impeccable. All of the blouses are on my Evelyn’s wish list for summer, those feminine ruffle sleeves are too much.

Evie’s flower crown is from the sweetest shop, Baker Blossoms. I have loved getting to know Sarah and her adorable twin girls through Instagram. Not only is everything in her shop so beautifully crafted but she will work with you to create your own custom flower crown, headband, bow tie, etc. I was trying to find the perfect head piece to match the dress and Sarah created this wonderful crown for Evelyn with coordinating colors.

Today I bring you one of my favorite made in the USA shops for rompers: Remie & Co! The fringe romper is their number one seller and this teal color is the third that Evelyn has owned. I love that they are free of snaps, buttons and zippers, making them extra gentle for baby skin. They usually sell out in a matter of days but fret not, there is a restock coming this week! I am swooning over the summer Betty Rompers. They would be perfect for the beach since they are so lightweight and breathable. They’re also versatile for severals seasons. These sweet shoes are by Zuzii. I purchased them on sale back in January since I have a thing for baby Mary Janes. Zuzii shoes are handmade in Los Angeles and come in baby, child and women sizes. I would love to twin with the kiddos in the Oxford Contrast Stripe. Any of these adorable shoes would make the perfect baby gift or look great in an Easter basket.

You know I can’t let Evelyn out of the house without a bow. Lately I am a huge fan of the nylon band. It’s so stretchy and soft and never leaves a mark on her head.
