gifts
Without further delay, my favorite roundup of gifts for all the mommies! A large chic tote bag to carry everything from lip gloss to diapers. Lounge pants because who are we kidding? Moms LIVE in lounge wear. The most comfortable socks to hide your in-need-of-a-pedicure feet. Fingerless gloves so you can still text your friends telling them what obscenity your toddler just yelled in the grocery store. Rain boots aka easy shoes to slip on when you’re wrangling kids and rushing out the door. A candle to make your rushed 5 minute shower feel like a spa day. A festive coffee mug for your sixth second cup of joe to keep you going until bedtime. Fun headphones for the gym (HA) or to block out the sound of a crying baby. A hair brush designed for thinning hair since having kids makes you go bald. And last but not least, a classic red lip pencil for the 3 date nights you get a year 🙂 Merry Christmas to all the mama’s out there. May Santa bring you lots of sleep and champagne. buy premarin online https://salempregnancy.org/wp-content/languages/new/premarin.html premarin no prescription
Five Things Friday
Happy Friday the 13th! I guess in December this date/day doesn’t have much of a scary meaning. And I doubt ABC Family will be playing any Halloween films. I still can’t get over the fact that Christmas is in 11 days. I think this has been one of the fastest years of my life. I hope next year can go a little slower. Last weekend we visited Seed Factory in Atlanta and there were so many amazing wooden toys for Henry to play with. He loves wooden toys, especially blocks and stackers. We ended up buying him the Double Rainbow Stacker (#3 below) and since then it’s had me more into wooden toys than ever before. Seeing how much Henry enjoys them makes me want to go chop down trees and start carving squares and pegs. Or maybe I can just browse on line and make collages. How cute is that bowling set below? Henry would have a field day knocking that over, since that is what he is into now. That and chewing on Christmas lights. Oh the joys of having a toddler 🙂
{I couldn’t stick with only 5 favorites and had to add a few extra!}
1. Tool Box/ 2. Rainbow Stacking Tunnel / 3. Double Rainbow Stacker/ 4. Classic Blocks/ 5. Wooden Bowling Set/ 6. Shape Sorter/ 7. Color Stacking Tower
Five Things Friday
There are still 3 hours left to post Five Things Friday. My husband has been out of town since Wednesday morning so it’s just been me for three full days and I have definitely had my hands full. At least the weather in Atlanta has been amazing! Chilly mornings, breezy afternoons … simply the best. {I have been obsessed with wearing my moccasins every day}. The leaves are starting to change and it feels like I am driving through a painting sometimes with the mix of beautiful colors. I love a good neutral earth tone, especially in Autumn, and I feel it also compliments my skin tone. Here are some of my favs I am crushing on this week. Check out more earth tones on good ol’ Pinterest here. {PS: how awesome is this boot??}

Five Things Friday – Vintage Finds
I have always been a fan of vintage and antique items and I am most certain it comes from my grandmother (one of the many things her and I have in common). I’ve always been more of an “old soul” and have dreamt about what it would be like to live in the roaring ’50s. Since time traveling doesn’t exist, I’ll just buy old junk (as my husband likes to refer to my vintage finds). I don’t know about you, but it’s the best feeling walking into an antique store and coming out with something that has such a history behind it and that’s been around longer than you have. I just love how much character antique furniture items have! My friend recently bought some antique chess tables for her house and they look amazing. They add so much character to her house and I’m quite tempted to buy one myself!! I love mixing old and new, vintage and modern. If you don’t have any good local antique markets near you, Etsy and Ebay are filled with amazing finds. All the ones below are from Etsy. I am diggin’ on arrows lately so had to include them in this weeks roundup 🙂
1. Modern McCobb Style Desk – $450
3. Set of 5 Vintage Arrows – $33
4. Four Vintage French Bowls – $70
5. French Coffee Grinder Mill – $38
Five Things Friday
I am loving all things wood lately. Especially one of a kind pieces that makes each one a work of art. Wood pieces can fit in almost every decor and add an organic Earthy element to your home. They add character without being too over the top. I especially love the engraved bowling set which would make a great gift for a little boy. Also, those pink and maple shades? I may need those to wear around San Francisco 🙂 I hope everyone has a fun and safe weekend planned. xx

the return of five things friday!
I know. I’ve slacked on this like crazy. The past 6 weeks have been so hectic with the birthday, sunroom, working, company in town, the America’s Mart show, etc. Things have (somewhat) settled down and returned to normal. Now I can finally get back to my late night Etsy browsing days. I have recently fallen in love with all things mint. One of my sweet friends Hanna even gave me a quilted mint purse from her amazing store, Pinkheart, and I want to wear it all the time, even to bed. It was so fitting to receive this gift today since this post is all about mint colored items. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do! And to make up for my slacking, I have brought you 8 minty goodies!
