Five Things Friday

Happy Friday! Who else is excited for this long weekend? Not only is it our anniversary on Sunday, but we have a staycation at the Loews Hotel, Atlanta planned and we are so excited to get away. Since we are officially in September, I wanted to share my current Fall favorites with you.
A good planner is key for busy moms. We need a place to keep up with doctors appointments, school activities, and weekend plans. I’m loving the Start Planners and all of their fun designs. I use the Mid-Year Legit Weekly Planner and it’s been so helpful to keep track of everyone’s schedule.
I rarely wear makeup during the week and if I do, I stick with black liquid eyeliner and mascara. I’ll admit that the only reason I purchased the Katy Perry cosmetics is because of the monochrome packaging. I actually love the mascara, especially the curved wand and it lasts all day without clumping. Plus, it was only $8! buy renova online https://blackmenheal.org/wp-content/languages/new/renova.html no prescription

The past few months I have really been using my essential oils daily and experimenting with different diffuser combinations, rubs, and doing general research on my favorites. I use Lavender daily in the diffuser and on my kids’ feet before they go to bed. Did you know it can also stimulate hair growth? I put a few drops in my shampoo and also my mascara to make my lashes fuller. Not only does this oil aid with hair regrowth, it also treats anxiety, sleeplessness, and stress. If you interested in learning more about essentials oils and their benefits, shoot me an email! {chanel@lifewithhenryandevie.com}
Aside from diffusing different oil blends, I also love a good smelling candle. My all time favorite is the Capri Blue Volcano from Anthropologie. With subtle hints of grapefruit and orange, it’s perfect to burn year round and the jar is so beautiful. I have one on my bedside table and in our kitchen.
A few weeks ago a came across the cutest website for sunglasses {Glow Glam} and immediately fell in love with everything on their site. I’ve always been a sunglasses addict and when I saw the Cali Rose pair, I knew I had to have them. I love the rose gold color and mirrors lenses. They are different from the normal sunglasses you see around, which makes them so unique. If you sign up for their email list you will get 20% off your first order and free shipping! buy revatio online https://blackmenheal.org/wp-content/languages/new/revatio.html no prescription

My Favorite Sippy Cups

It’s safe to say that I’ve been around the sippy cup block. Henry started using them at 6 months old and he’s now over 4. So, for the past 3+ years, my dishwasher has seen their fair share of different cups. It’s seen boy cups and girl cups, glass cups and non-BPA free cups, Paw Patrol cups and now Minnie Mouse cups.  My kids have tried them all and I’m sharing my top five favorites today.

1 // Born Free – Henry has used these for over two years now and we haven’t had any issues. They are spout-less and are great for transitioning a toddler into a real cup. buy valtrex online https://cpff.ca/wp-content/languages/new/noprescription/valtrex-no-prescription.html no prescription
2 // Silikids – This is a newer brand that I just started using. I love how extremely durable the cups are.  The tops are made from silicone which stretches tightly over the sippy cups, preventing any spills.  You can also order the universal sippy tops and straw tops and add to existing cups you already own. Did you know that silicone is recyclable? I had no idea! Silikids will responsibly recycle your cups and tops once your children have outgrown them. They offer a variety of silicone items which you can see more of here.
3 // Nuk – Both my kids started with the Nuk Trainer Cups. They are the perfect size for little hands and come with handles for practice. Once your child gets accustomed to holding the cup, you can remove the handles. The spout is most like the nipple on a bottle so it’s familiar to their little mouths.
4 // Nalgene – I have personally used this brand for years and I love that they have smaller ones for toddler’s hands. They are just as wonderful as the adult version and come in an array of colors. Since these hold 12 ounces of liquid, they are perfect for an afternoon at the park or a day at the pool. buy elavil online https://cpff.ca/wp-content/languages/new/noprescription/elavil-no-prescription.html no prescription
5 // Munchkin – The kids have been using these the longest. Henry would never take a regular spout and only liked the straw sippy. These have a soft spout but yet are bite proof and leak proof. I also love how they click to lock so you know the top is on securely. They last forever and come in a variety of colors. I love how they will grow with your child well into the toddler years. These are recommended for 9 months and up and the kids are now 4 and 18 months and they still use these. buy fluoxetine online https://cpff.ca/wp-content/languages/new/noprescription/fluoxetine-no-prescription.html no prescription

Five Things Friday: Toddler Accessories

As Evelyn gets older I am always on the lookout for accessories that I can incorporate into her outfits.
Sunglasses are always a staple accessory and these are on sale at Gap now with an additional 40% off making the final price $6.60! If you follow me on Instagram you know that Evie rocks these mini turbans year round. Last year, we went as twins for a Halloween parade and I had this jet black turban act as her “top knot.” It was the cutest thing ever. My favorite color is the Iced Mauve because it goes with everything. The adorable fringe anklets are a new summer find. buy adalat online https://medstaff.englewoodhealth.org/wp-content/languages/new/adalat.html no prescription
They pair best with a swimsuit since Evelyn is already barefoot at the pool and add the perfect bohemian touch. I recently found the toddler cross-body purse on Etsy and cannot wait to style it with some outfits this fall. They also make matching mommy backpacks! Lastly, these animal necklaces are one of my new favorite things for Evelyn. Little girls in necklaces are so adorable and she loves looking at the animal faces. Stay tuned for a giveaway with two of these necklaces happening later this month! buy actos online https://medstaff.englewoodhealth.org/wp-content/languages/new/actos.html no prescription

Father’s Day Gifts

Happy Friday! Father’s Day is just around the corner and I’ve pulled together some of my favorite finds for the men in your life. First up is this waxed canvas lunch tote. I love how versatile this bag is. The color is a rich brown, making it the perfect manly gift. All of these are handmade in California and the quality is superb. It’s extremely durable and can carry everything from lunch to some beers for a night of tailgating before a concert. My husband also loves to take it when he goes golfing or fishing and it’s held up wonderfully.

Car Play Mat Shirt – I’ve seen these around for a few years and I always thought they would make a great gift. Henry has so much fun driving his hot wheels along his daddy’s back and my husband enjoyed his back rub! The front of the shirt is blank and the material is super soft. There are also a few different designs to choose from so you can pick one that you think your child will like the best. buy fluoxetine online https://medstaff.englewoodhealth.org/wp-content/languages/new/generic-fluoxetine.html no prescription

iPad & Headphone Mount – I found this while searching for unique pieces for our master bedroom redesign and knew it would look great near my husband’s side of the bed. I love the sleek, modern wooden design and simple lines. Now we just need to get him some headphones that aren’t rose gold 🙂

After Shave Salve – This is seriously my husbands new all time favorite aftershave. He loves the smell and the moisture it provides after a fresh shave. I love how it’s made from all natural ingredients and lasts forever. He hasn’t gotten any of those ugly bumps that shaving sometimes gives men and he attributes it to this salve. Another plus? It smells amazing and does the job with no harsh chemicals. buy lexapro online https://medstaff.englewoodhealth.org/wp-content/languages/new/lexapro.html no prescription

Five Things Friday – Summer Sandals

If you follow me on Instagram (@chanelvanreenen), you may have seen these amazing yellow sandals that I took with me to Boston last week. I’ve been such a fan of Sole Society shoes for a while now and these are no exception. They can be dressed up or down, worn with jeans or a dress and are very comfortable.  Usually I would just throw on some flip flops before heading out of the house but there are so many great sandals out this season. Here are some I’m currently loving. Comment below and tell me which ones you are obsessing over. Five Things Friday: Carryall

I am a huge fan of bags that do not look like diaper bags. Yes, I know I have two small child but do I have to carry a huge paisley print bag that screams “there are 500 goldfish crushed in the bottom of my this?” I’d rather carry a sleek tote for all those goldfish crumbs to hide in. These days, diaper bags do not have look like diaper bags. I don’t even like that term anymore. In reality moms just need a decent sized bag to carry all their junk belongings. Here is a roundup of all the ones I am loving lately that do not look like diapers bags. They are stylish, functional, affordable and will coordinate with just about any outfit.
