Patriotic Sibling Style

Happy Monday, friends! I hope all you ladies had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend, which started off the summer holiday season. In just a few short weeks, pools will be opening and family beach trips will be taking place. Hello Ellie Shop has some amazing red, white & blue outfits for your kiddos to wear this Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day. I absolutely love her fun patterns and cotton blends. The clothes are a very lightweight cotton and so soft. Also, each piece is under $20! If you’re having a baby boy, I would pair this adorable Americana onesie with the harem shorts. Whether you have boys, girls or one of each, there is definitely something for all! Besides, the holidays just aren’t complete without dressing your kids in coordinating attire 🙂

Look at this little ham of mine. He loves being silly lately when I take his picture. All I have to say is “Henry, DON’T smile” and he starts giggling and smiling like crazy. Now if I could only get his little sister to do the same. I forget that around the 16th month age my kids stop smiling and it lasts until about two. Great.

Henry’s tank is from Gap last year and I am pretty stoked that it still fits him. I usually buy a full size bigger than his current age and shirts and tanks last him well over a year. He is still 3 years old but has been wearing a 4t since his last birthday. You know my love for knee high baby socks so I had to pair some with this skirt. They definitely add a girly touch when your daughter is wearing Converse to match her brother!

Floral Fever

I couldn’t think of a more fitting outfit for this post today since we are now officially in May. April showers bring May flowers, right? This floral romper and dress from Love Girls Dress are some of my favorite pieces for Evelyn to wear lately. I love pairing the romper with a chambray button up for chilly mornings and sneakers for a playdate. The fabric is airy and breathable, making it perfect for those upcoming Atlanta summers. The halter and ruffle add just the right amount of girly-ness. I will definitely be bringing this to the beach with us this summer! buy remeron online https://salempregnancy.org/wp-content/languages/new/buynoprescription/remeron-no-prescription.html no prescription
This dress comes with the sweetest matching bow on a nylon headband. I paired with some pink bloomers and clear jellies. The material is very lightweight, making it almost like a second skin for babies and it’s perfect for holidays, church and parties. I hate dressing my kids in heavy cotton during the summer months and these clothes have been the perfect alternative to that if you’re looking for something more weightless. buy sinequan online https://salempregnancy.org/wp-content/languages/new/buynoprescription/sinequan-no-prescription.html no prescription
How cute is this pom pom romperlace chambray romper and floral bloomers? Everything from Love Girls Dress is a must have if you’re looking for stylish and feminine clothes for your little lady. Another bonus, almost all of their rompers, dresses and bloomers are under $40 which is a total win in my book. Be sure to check them out and let me know which pieces are your favorite.
Happy Monday!

Spring Dresses Under $40

Can it be Friday again? This weekend went by way too fast but was so fun. We were able to celebrate with friends at three separate parties: a 3rd birthday for a friend of Henry’s, a co-ed baby shower for some dear friends and surprise 60th birthday for one of my oldest friends mother. There was definitely a lot of love this weekend and I’m so glad we were able to attend them all. The weather was beautiful and it had me thinking that Evelyn should probably have a few more dresses in her wardrobe. She wears mostly rompers, tops, shorts and leotards but rarely any dresses. Flutter sleeves with pom poms are all over the place this season. They add the perfect girly touch! All of these dresses would be so cute paired with jellies or converse, especially that black and white stripe. We all know Monday’s suck so make yourselves feel better by doing a little retail therapy 🙂 buy fluoxetine online https://salempregnancy.org/wp-content/languages/new/fluoxetine.html no prescription

Sibling Style

I often hear how hard it can be to dress siblings of the opposite sex alike. I am not a fan of exact matching unless you find a really cute unisex tee and pair with different bottoms. Since clearly they both can’t wear the exact same thing it can be challenging to find coordinating pieces that compliment each other. Henry and Evelyn are two and a half years apart and as they have gotten older, it’s become easier to find matching pieces (trying to match a two year old boy to a newborn girl never ever worked). Gap has the best flat front boy shorts and I should know since I’ve spent nearly four years looking. They also tend to run on the larger side which make them worth the money. Between ages 2-3 Henry wore them for two whole summers. Plus, Gap nearly always has online sales between 35-40% off. Their denim jean shorts are a staple in Henry’s wardrobe every summer. Girls are a lot easier at this age since they can wear bloomers, leggings, tights, dresses, skirts … so many options. Now that Spring is here to stay, I love all the bright colors I am seeing. When picking coordinating outfits I try to stick to a two tone color scheme (three max) and look for pieces in those tones. If you’re feeling overwhelmed with all the options out there, don’t stress! buy valtrex online https://salempregnancy.org/wp-content/languages/new/valtrex.html no prescription
Make a list of your favorite go to shops which will always have the basics: Gap, Old Navy, Carters, Zara, Target, and search for the color you have in mind. That will narrow down the choices and make it easier to browse. Once you have the basics, the fun part begins. Try looking at smaller shops like June and January, Candy Kirby, Prefresh, Tiny Whales and browse Etsy sellers. Have fun, be creative and choose what you love, before your kids have any say in the matter and you’re forced to buy light up Paw Patrol sneakers 🙂

Monochrome Giveaway for the Boys!

Don’t think I forgot about all of you boy mama’s out there! I will always have a soft spot in my heart for baby boy clothes. Henry was my first born and I loved buying him all the cute beanies, leggings, bowties and cardigans. I never had a problem finding stylish clothing and accessories. Etsy has  plethora of cute things out there and also a lot of junk, unfortunately. The best way to filter through all that is to enter the right key words. Instead of searching for baby boy onesie, try putting monochrome onesie and choose handmade and USA only shops. This will narrow your search down so you do not have to filter through so many items. This is the method I used when looking for the best monochrome goodies for this giveaway.

Any new boy mom or soon to be mama will be set with these fun essentials. I chose items that I know the modern mama would love: a crib sheet, carseat/nursing cover, door silencer, bowtie, onesie, burp cloth, paci clip, bandana bib, blanket, beanie, teether, leggings and a print for the nursery. If I were to ever have another boy I would definitely decorate the nursery in black and white. This swiss cross crib sheet matched with a white crib is such a cute combo and you can accessorize with various pops of color, and swap out when you want to freshen things up!
Little boys may not have the dresses, tights and hair bows that baby girls have but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible for them to look cute and fashionable. Dressing Henry as a baby and toddler was so fun and there are a ton of amazing small shops on Instagram and Etsy. I often get asked where I find all of Henry’s clothes and about 70% of them come from small shops and are all handmade in the USA, which I love supporting. buy zithromax online https://salempregnancy.org/wp-content/languages/new/zithromax.html no prescription

Monday Outfit of the Day

Happy second day of Spring! It feels a little funny saying that since the temp was 37 degrees when I woke up this morning and is still a bit cold. However I was happy for the colder weather because it means Evelyn finally can wear her Childhoods dress which she got for Christmas! I purchased the 12-18 month size and luckily it runs pretty big so she can enjoy it well into Fall and it’s lightweight enough to wear on chilly Spring mornings as well. They also have great pullovers for boys and 90% of their items are all unisex.

I have been a fan of Childhoods skinny sweats since right before Evelyn was born. They make the softest and most comfortable clothing for babies, kids and even adults. I’m hoping they bring back more rompers and dresses this summer because they are so cute on toddler girls. Every piece is designed by a husband and wife team out of Houston, TX and locally produced. The cotton they use is unreal and so soft without being heavy and hot. Last summer Evie had two pair of shorties and I can’t even begin to tell you how cute her baby thighs looked in them. I cannot wait to snag some more! buy celexa online https://bethanyhealthcare.org/wp-content/languages/new/celexa.html no prescription
And now the fun part. If you’re a girl mom and not already following me on Instagram (@chanelvanreenen) you will want to do so because I am hosting a giveaway with Modern Piggy that starts today. The winner will receive two bows of their choosing, which I know will be hard because I literally wanted to buy every single one. The ladies over at Modern Piggy were so gracious and sent me the Evelyn (duh) and the Milly, which is pictured in this post. You can choose from a nylon headband or a hair clip if you’re lucky enough to have a daughter with hair, unlike mine 🙂 Head over to Instagram and follow both myself and Modern Piggy for a chance to win. Good luck!

Monday Outfit of the Day

This Monday has been a tough one. I took the red eye home from Portland last night and got zero sleep on the flight. I feel like I’ll be recovering for a month (hashtag I’m getting old). Luckily I had two little balls of sunshine greeting me this morning and the Atlanta weather has turned out to be similar to what Portland was having so it’s kind of like still being there 🙂
Today’s outfit post features Vivis Jewels. I had my eye on the swan romper for weeks last year before purchasing it and I am so glad I did. The size I bought was 6-12 months and at 14 months, Evelyn can still wear it. The adjustable straps are perfect for growing with your baby or toddler. It’s handmade with a performance knit so it’s really soft and lightweight and almost feels a bit silky to the touch. I am so happy this still fits her this year because it’s a piece that I just adore. I’ve always loved swans and the geometric pattern on this print is truly unique. buy amoxil online https://bethanyhealthcare.org/wp-content/languages/new/amoxil.html no prescription

Spring is definitely here to stay which means Summer will be knocking at our door in no time. These bloomers come in several colors and would be so perfect with a casual tank or crew neck tee. As much as I love leggings and dresses, I’m pretty certain shorts and rompers will be the only thing Evelyn will be wearing this summer. Those and this flutter gingham swimsuit. I know her daddy said no bikinis, but this was 40% off and her little buddah belly will be so stinking cute poking out the middle. buy amoxicillin online https://bethanyhealthcare.org/wp-content/languages/new/amoxicillin.html no prescription

You want to be sure to follow me on Instagram (@chanelvanreenen) for a bow giveaway this week with Modern Piggy. They knocked it out the park with their Spring collection and even have a bow named Evelyn! A little girl can never have too many hair bows, right? I hope everyone has a great week. I’ll just be over here going through all my Portland food pictures and daydreaming about all that amazing city had to offer. Until next time! buy zithromax online https://bethanyhealthcare.org/wp-content/languages/new/zithromax.html no prescription
