“a portrait of my child, once a week, every week, in 2014.”

Henry: I’m not really surprised that this week is also a water picture. I couldn’t resist though, look at him in his shades! If he wasn’t wearing a puddle jumper you’d think he was a teenager.

52 Portrait Update (19/20/21/22)

Week 19: Busy busy busy. This guy never stops and can find something that fascinates him anywhere.

Week 20: Water baby. What else is new.

Week 21: He’s got the bike riding down. Our sweet friends let him borrow this bike and he has been riding it non stop, all throughout the house.

Week 22: Home Depot run. He started saying “depot depot” when I told him where we were going. Picking out paint colors for his big boy room which we are starting on next month. He still has this serious face in pictures and he doesn’t understand “smile” yet.

Week 15: Not the most flattering picture, but I love this one. His face looks just like mine after I have been outside in the heat (bright red!)

Week 16: Strolling outside, looking for trouble.

Week 17: His first Easter egg hunt. He was more interested in running free than grabbing eggs. Maybe next year!

Week 18: My water baby, his first time in water wings. He loves pool time with Daddy.

52 Portrait Update (12/13/14)

I am seriously behind on the 52 Portraits. Not that I haven’t taken them, just that I have forgotten to post them. My husband and I just got back from a business trip and Henry was with my mom for 5 days. He also got another ear infection while we were gone and was sick the whole time 🙁 It’s so nice to be back and we definitely missed our buddy!

Week 12: Henry is obsessed with going outside. It is the first thing he asks for in the morning. As soon as you pick him up, he says “oufide!” And throughout the day, he will come grab my hand and say “han, oufide!”

Week 13: I could stare at his eyes all day. They are so full of curiosity.

Week 14: My little honey bunny ready. I love those moccasins on his feet and I love that he is still too young to have a say in his outfits 🙂

9/52

I just realized I forgot to show the week 9 portrait. Maybe it’s because March has snuck up on me. I always forgot how short February is.

Henry: He is obsessed with taking off and putting back on his shoes. At least once a week I get a note from daycare saying something like “Henry didn’t want to play the drums, he would rather take his shoes off.”
