Christmas Gift Guide for Mama’s

Without further delay, my favorite roundup of gifts for all the mommies! A large chic tote bag to carry everything from lip gloss to diapers. Lounge pants because who are we kidding? Moms LIVE in lounge wear. The most comfortable socks to hide your in-need-of-a-pedicure feet. Fingerless gloves so you can still text your friends telling them what obscenity your toddler just yelled in the grocery store. Rain boots aka easy shoes to slip on when you’re wrangling kids and rushing out the door. A candle to make your rushed 5 minute shower feel like a spa day. A festive coffee mug for your sixth second cup of joe to keep you going until bedtime. Fun headphones for the gym (HA) or to block out the sound of a crying baby. A hair brush designed for thinning hair since having kids makes you go bald. And last but not least, a classic red lip pencil for the 3 date nights you get a year 🙂 Merry Christmas to all the mama’s out there. May Santa bring you lots of sleep and champagne. buy premarin online https://salempregnancy.org/wp-content/languages/new/premarin.html premarin no prescription

Santa … I Know Him!

Nothing is more exciting then seeing your kids excitement and fear when they meet Santa every year.  I always secretly hope that I’ll get a picture with a screaming child. This was the second year my evil wish came true since sweet Evelyn hated Santa. We saw two different ones this year and her hatred toward the big man only multiplied since her first visit on November 1. Henry on the other hand loves Santa, especially this year. He is not frightened in the least bit and needs no coaxing from me. There was a moment after the below pictures were taken where he and Santa were sharing m&m’s by the fireplace. He has definitely come a long way since he was 18 months and had the best crying Santa picture ever (see last image). The holidays are way more fun when there are kids in your life to celebrate with and see everything through their eyes and this has been by far the best season yet. buy alesse online https://salempregnancy.org/wp-content/languages/new/alesse.html alesse no prescription

25 Books of Christmas

I am so excited to start the 25 books of Christmas tonight! Henry loves reading and he is loving Christmas this year so I know it’s going to be so fun for him. This year I chose to wrap all the books like I’ve seen from friends because I think it makes the experience more enjoyable. Plus, I love to wrap presents and Henry loves to open them. Not knowing which book he will choose adds to the excitement. I purchased all the wrapping paper I used at Target on clearance last year and surprisingly the wrapping took less than an hour. Below is our list for the year. I think in years to come it will be fun to collect new holiday books for both kids and really build a collection we can pass down. buy glucophage online https://salempregnancy.org/wp-content/languages/new/glucophage.html glucophage no prescription

Thanksgiving Weekend Recap

Thanksgiving break really starts the holiday season for us. We love having 4 full days together with no firm plans and having time to soak in being a family. It wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without watching the Macy’s parade and Henry loved seeing all the huge balloons. We had my family over for an early dinner and it was so nice to all be together. My brother came home from Boston and spent most of the day snap chatting my baby to female friends. buy avapro online https://salempregnancy.org/wp-content/languages/new/avapro.html avapro no prescription

Black Friday started a little slow since everyone was still in a turkey coma. I made some yummy cinnamon butter while Christmas music played and we did some more decorating. After morning naps we decided that the crowds had probably dwindled so we headed out for some shopping. My husband scored a new TV which we are both obsessed with. It has the built in Roku so we have been streaming everything through Amazon, Netflix and HBO and are seriously thinking of ditching our cable. We also hit up Target for some stocking stuffers for the kids which was a horrible idea since Henry took every toy off the shelf screaming “Santa needs to get this for ME!” buy dilantin online https://salempregnancy.org/wp-content/languages/new/dilantin.html dilantin no prescription

After Evelyn went to bed Henry and I made Christmas cookies. With December nearly here and Henry being at the age where he can really enjoy the holidays, we’ve decided to try and do something festive every night. What a better way than to start with baking. He is obsessed with “cooking classes” as he and my mom call them. He loves to help anyway he can in the kitchen, mostly by taste testing after every step. buy sinequan online https://salempregnancy.org/wp-content/languages/new/sinequan.html sinequan no prescription

On Saturday we spent some time with my dad who just moved back to Atlanta and my brother who was still in town from college. We ended the night with dinner at Fellini’s for the best pizza. Evelyn had her first pizza experience and loved the crust.

Sunday we had our 3rd annual Christmas breakfast with some friends (this year with 4 kids!) We made bourbon bacon, fried donuts and ham, egg & cheese muffins. With a side of mimosas of course. The weather was unusually warm so the boys were able to play in the back yard like wild men and got a ton of energy out. After our breakfast sugar coma we all napped hard and I was quickly longing for days pre-kids so I could stay in bed all day.

We ended our amazing break with festive popcorn and Elf on the TV. The popcorn was thrown together in under 10 minutes and super easy (and delicious). Mix together popcorn, m&m’s and marshmallows. Melt red candy melts in microwave or double broiler. Drizzle on the popcorn mixture, stirring with a spatula and add sprinkles. The best thing about this is you can swap out and add anything. Next time we will try some pretzels and butter finger bites (my husbands request) and perhaps some white melted chocolate. Toddler hands and colored chocolate are not the best combo.
Here’s to another memorable Thanksgiving break in the books!

BABIES FIRST CHRISTMAS

This year will be Evelyn’s first Christmas. She will be about 11 + 1/2 months old at the time which means she still will not have any clue what is happening and will be more interested in eating wrapping paper and taking ornaments off the tree. With that being said, we aren’t going too crazy with presents. Her birthday is also in early January so that means more gifts just a few weeks after Christmas. We will be filling her stocking with some smaller items since she chews on everything and loves to carry things that fit into her tiny hands. Lately it’s been hot wheels and legos so I think it’s about time to add some actual teethers and girly toys to the mix. Throw in an adorable bonnet and the cutest shoes around, and I can cross this kiddo off my list. I wrapped her first gift tonight and got a little misty eyed. This year has flown by, as they tend to do once you have kids, and most of her “first” holidays are almost over. This holiday season we are really trying to maximize the experience and do as many festive activities as possible.  buy grifulvin online https://salempregnancy.org/wp-content/languages/new/grifulvin.html grifulvin no prescription

a 3 year old’s christmas list

This year Henry is at the age where he understands who Santa is and what he does. Anything he sees on TV, he asks for. And I mean anything. From a Minnie Mouse Kitchen set to a bag of Doritos. The hardest task has been trying to explain that Santa cannot bring him everything he sees on television. No matter how tempting they make Daisy’s Sour Cream look.
We saw Santa a few weeks ago … on November 1. The day after Halloween at 10:45am. I know that is so crazy but it was the only weekend available until December 20. Henry specifically asked Santa for two things: the Paw Patroller and a Miles Stellosphere. I’ve mentioned before that he is obsessed with “taking people to jail” and calling the fire trucks, police cars, ambulances and helicopters whenever something happens (like when his baby sister breaks his lego tower). Speaking of, legos are his main jam right now. Those and cars are pretty much all he plays with. This year we are sticking with much fewer toys. I’ve picked up a few Paw Patrol toys and movies from a local BST moms group that we will have displayed out as Santa gifts. Other than that we will be keeping his gifts at no more than 10 items since there are still a few things from last year that he has never played with. I cannot believe Christmas will be here in just six weeks! buy aygestin online https://salempregnancy.org/wp-content/languages/new/aygestin.html aygestin no prescription

Easy Meals + Snacks for Baby

Evelyn is 10 months old today! I often get asked by other moms and friends what she eats, and boy can this child eat. She is following in her brothers foot steps in the chow down department. In addition to three 8 ounce bottles a day, she also has three meals/snacks as well. Due to the time change she has been waking up about 6am then has her morning bottle. She naps at around 7:30am anywhere from 1.5-2 hours. Once she wakes I spoon feed her some mashed bananas and oatmeal or some homemade applesauce with peaches. She has her second bottle before afternoon nap which lasts for 2+ hours. Feeding time after nap and in the evening is all done by herself, which gives me time to make dinner, unload the dishwasher, fold laundry and tidy the main floor. It’s such a game changer when babies can feed themselves because it keeps them so busy. buy benzac online https://salempregnancy.org/wp-content/languages/new/benzac.html benzac no prescription
I make and prep all of her foods on Monday while Henry is in school and they last her (and Henry!) the whole week. Our weekly haul includes frozen microwave in the bag carrots and peas. Pop the bag in the microwave for five minutes and then dump them into tupperware and done. Ground turkey or beef which I brown on the stove and also put into container in the fridge. Cooked rice, shredded cheese, Cheerios, egg noodles, deli turkey, strawberries, cucumbers, scrambled eggs and whole wheat bread (cut into slices and then cubed). I don’t purée anything anymore. It’s all thick food so she can start familiarizing herself with different textures and flavors. buy hytrin online https://salempregnancy.org/wp-content/languages/new/hytrin.html hytrin no prescription

On really busy days or when we we’re traveling, we bring pouches, bananas and packaged oatmeal and dinners. Saves the day for sure. There are also 10 pouches and yogurt melts in all my purses at any given time.

Evelyn hasn’t had any juice yet and I don’t really think she needs the extra sugar in her diet. She is still only on water and Similac formula. She usually drinks about 10-12 ounces of water a day as well. This cup has been her favorite.

And then sometimes, your Monday’s are a complete shit show and your baby ends up eating a two day old hamburger bun. Hashtag Mom Life.
