Hello and happy Monday friends! The sun is shining and it is a beautiful day here in Atlanta, which is great because I have a ton of things to cross of my list before going out of town. Why is it that getting ready for a vacation feels like a full time job? Perhaps to make us appreciate the time we get away that much more 🙂 This sweet romper featured today is from Girl with a Twirl Boutique out of Minnesota. I loved this romper the second I saw it. I was torn between that and these beautiful bright dresses which remind me of colored Easter eggs. The fabric is very sturdy and the attention to detail in the lace, side bows and back cut out are incredible. The lace and chambray give the romper a vintage and modern feel. This will definitely be a piece I will save forever and pass down to my grandchildren one day. This romper is also under $40 so it would make a great shower or birthday gift. Miss Evie is showing off her two little rabbit teeth which she is so proud of. She has been working on getting her molars in but still no more front teeth. I guess that’s a good thing because if she had them she would probably be biting the hell out of her brother for always taking her toys. Five Things Friday – Rain Boots

With just under a week before my Portland trip I am feeling the urgency for some new rain boots. I bought some last Fall when it literally poured in Atlanta for 100 days straight but they are not the most comfortable for doing a ton of walking. I also hate shoes that tie up my feet so I honestly have no idea why I bought them. Until this past year we haven’t gotten a ton of consistent rain living in the South so I never really had to think about a rain boot that was comfortable yet not ugly AF but there are a ton of fun ones out there. It kind of makes me wish the rain would stick around but then I look at my house with two kids tearing it up because we can’t go outside and that thought immediately removes itself from my brain. The basic black are great for year round but the yellow and floral are perfect for Spring. The best part is that these are all under $100. Five Things Friday – Easter for Girls

We are just over four weeks away until Easter which means there are cute bunny things everywhere. Target is killing it with their Easter decor, as usual, and if you are hosting at your home this year, there are some great options for a creating a beautiful floral tablescape at some great prices. Putting together Easter baskets for the kids is one of my favorite things (you can see what I chose last year and the year before). Today I’m sharing some cute things for baby and toddler girls. Today I bring you one of my favorite made in the USA shops for rompers: Remie & Co! The fringe romper is their number one seller and this teal color is the third that Evelyn has owned. I love that they are free of snaps, buttons and zippers, making them extra gentle for baby skin. They usually sell out in a matter of days but fret not, there is a restock coming this week! I am swooning over the summer Betty Rompers. They would be perfect for the beach since they are so lightweight and breathable. They’re also versatile for severals seasons. These sweet shoes are by Zuzii. I purchased them on sale back in January since I have a thing for baby Mary Janes. Zuzii shoes are handmade in Los Angeles and come in baby, child and women sizes. You know I can’t let Evelyn out of the house without a bow. Lately I am a huge fan of the nylon band. It’s so stretchy and soft and never leaves a mark on her head. With Valentine’s Day less than a week away I’m taking full advantage of all things red and pink. Evelyn has a few Valentine’s rompers and dresses which are cute but I love putting together a unique outfit for holidays and special occasions. Instagram is my go to place for finding the best handmade small shops. There are so many unique options available and there is something for everyone. Two shops I am loving right now are Glitter + Wit and Little Scouts Co. You know I’ve always been a fan of graphic t’s for Henry and LSC has a ton of fun ones to choose from. Shopping without Kids

We fully took advantage of our last shopping weekend before Christmas and the weather could not have been better. It has been raining non stop for the past 48 hours and will continue through the weekend. So much for a chilly Christmas morning with a fire going and bring on the humidity and wetness. After dropping the kids off with my mom, our first order of business was to get some Starbucks of course since I haven’t had many of their holiday drinks this season nor have I drank from the controversial Satan Sipper.

After our morning coffee we headed to Ponce City Market. It was my first time there and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere and vibe remind you you’re not in the suburbs anymore, Dorothy. There’s a great selection of shops including Sugarboo & Co, Anthropologie and Citizen Supply (which is a marketplace for curated artists with the best local ATL goodies).

For lunch we stopped at H&F Burger which everyone has been raving about. The buns alone are worth going there for. I’ve always been a true Bocado fan but this has them beat. I chose the classic cheeseburger with a fried egg since I add eggs to just about everything and a side of fries. All the restaurants are located in a food hall, cafeteria style, which was great for people watching. H&F is right next to Williams Sonoma and I was eyeing their Christmas decor and goodies the whole time we were having lunch. It’s funny how having a few hours to yourselves without the kids can rejuvenate you but being gone more than three days is like torture. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, which I can’t even start to comprehend and it is still raining here in Atlanta. We stocked up on some peppermint bark hot chocolate but it feels more like Spring then Winter so I’m not sure when we’ll be able to enjoy it.
