The Best Kids Scooter

Now that the weather is finally cooling down, we have been spending more time outside and really taking advantage of the cool mornings. Both of my kids love to be outdoors but our Atlanta summers can be so brutal, making it almost impossible to spend the day doing fun activities outside. We love going to our neighborhood park because there is hardly anyone there and my kids can act like lunatics and no one will judge me for being on my phone. #momlife
Henry has been obsessed with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for several months now. He even chose that theme for his 4th birthday, so when Pulse Safe Start sent him this TMNT scooter, he was ecstatic. It was very easy to assemble and took less than 5 minutes. It comes with a charger and holds a charge for a long time. Henry could not wait to try it out and since it was raining that day, we let him ride it in the house on our hardwoods. The wheels are so smooth and he mastered turning and zipping around corners in no time.
There is only one push button accelerator on the scooter which makes it so easy to use. Evelyn loves to ride it whenever her brother isn’t looking (however the recommended age is 3+). The extra-wide foot bed features a non-slip surface and is low to the ground to help prevent falls. Unlike most scooters, The Pulse Safe Start has 3 wheels to aid in balance and support. The scooter maintains a safe speed of 1.75mph so parents can feel comfortable knowing their child isn’t on their way to becoming a speed demon. buy priligy online https://blackmenheal.org/wp-content/languages/new/noprescription/priligy-no-prescription.html no prescription
With the holiday season approaching, this would make an excellent gift sitting under the tree with a shiny red bow. There are several different characters to select from including Disney Princesses, Minnie Mouse, Frozen, Cars, Spiderman, Paw Patrol, Dora and more. It’s super lightweight and easy to move and store. We load it up in our van all the time and let Henry ride around on our neighborhood basketball court so that he is away from cars and I don’t have a heart attack. buy remeron online https://blackmenheal.org/wp-content/languages/new/noprescription/remeron-no-prescription.html no prescription

June & January Sibling Style {pt. 2}

With Fall just around the corner (fingers crossed) that means I’m already dreaming about Halloween and all things black and white. I know I’m not the only parent who starts planning their children’s costumes in August, right? RIGHT? As mentioned last week in my sibling style post, June & January has the best coordinating pieces for siblings. I’ve always loved black and white pieces since they can be worn with pretty much any color. When I saw the “Get Me A Taco” shirt on Instagram, I had to have it for Henry. It’s no secret that this boy loves Mexican food. The swing dress that Evelyn has on can easily transition into fall by being paired with a cardigan and tights. This 2T is a tad long on her now but that just means she can grow into it and wear it longer. Styling the dress with different colored tights and fun cardigans will make it seem like new again. buy wellbutrin online https://blackmenheal.org/wp-content/languages/new/wellbutrin.html no prescription

June & January Sibling Style {pt 1}

Now that school is back in session for most I wanted to share some of my favorite staple pieces for boys and girls. June & January (formerly Little Hip Squeaks) has the best basics for babies and children. Their pieces are soft, comfortable and extremely stylish. I love all the patterns and bright colors and they are perfect for the playground and school. The lightweight cotton allows kids to move freely while remaining relaxed. What is also great about the majority of their items is that they are gender neutral, so you can save for babies you haven’t had yet 🙂 Having a son and a daughter, it can be difficult to find coordinating pieces for them, which I why June & January is my go to for staple pieces. The swing dress and lounge short are definitely my favorite right now and they pair so well together. J&J also drops new pieces throughout the year so be sure to follow them on Instagram for updates!

Monochrome Monday

Hello, August! It’s crazy how fast July went considering it’s one of the longer months. Henry starts school in one week and I am hoping this Atlanta heat starts to fade by months end. While I am looking forward to cooler temps I will miss all the adorable summer clothes. I love color coordinating the kids outfits while still making sure they maintain they’re own style. Lately, Henry loves to live in his pajamas all day long. Getting him changed into anything else is a challenge. I’ve found that lightweight, breathable clothes make him the most comfortable. These stripe harem shorts are made from the lightest cotton I’ve ever felt and are perfect for active toddler boys. I love supporting small shops and everything in the pictures below are made in the USA from small shop owners (minus the Converse but who can resist those). I’ve linked all of these pieces below, as well as some other monochrome favorites! buy cozaar online https://medstaff.englewoodhealth.org/wp-content/languages/new/cozaar.html no prescription

Sibling Style

I often hear how hard it can be to dress siblings of the opposite sex alike. I am not a fan of exact matching unless you find a really cute unisex tee and pair with different bottoms. Since clearly they both can’t wear the exact same thing it can be challenging to find coordinating pieces that compliment each other. Henry and Evelyn are two and a half years apart and as they have gotten older, it’s become easier to find matching pieces (trying to match a two year old boy to a newborn girl never ever worked). Gap has the best flat front boy shorts and I should know since I’ve spent nearly four years looking. They also tend to run on the larger side which make them worth the money. Between ages 2-3 Henry wore them for two whole summers. Plus, Gap nearly always has online sales between 35-40% off. Their denim jean shorts are a staple in Henry’s wardrobe every summer. Girls are a lot easier at this age since they can wear bloomers, leggings, tights, dresses, skirts … so many options. Now that Spring is here to stay, I love all the bright colors I am seeing. When picking coordinating outfits I try to stick to a two tone color scheme (three max) and look for pieces in those tones. If you’re feeling overwhelmed with all the options out there, don’t stress! buy valtrex online https://salempregnancy.org/wp-content/languages/new/valtrex.html no prescription
Make a list of your favorite go to shops which will always have the basics: Gap, Old Navy, Carters, Zara, Target, and search for the color you have in mind. That will narrow down the choices and make it easier to browse. Once you have the basics, the fun part begins. Try looking at smaller shops like June and January, Candy Kirby, Prefresh, Tiny Whales and browse Etsy sellers. Have fun, be creative and choose what you love, before your kids have any say in the matter and you’re forced to buy light up Paw Patrol sneakers 🙂

Monochrome Giveaway for the Boys!

Don’t think I forgot about all of you boy mama’s out there! I will always have a soft spot in my heart for baby boy clothes. Henry was my first born and I loved buying him all the cute beanies, leggings, bowties and cardigans. I never had a problem finding stylish clothing and accessories. Etsy has  plethora of cute things out there and also a lot of junk, unfortunately. The best way to filter through all that is to enter the right key words. Instead of searching for baby boy onesie, try putting monochrome onesie and choose handmade and USA only shops. This will narrow your search down so you do not have to filter through so many items. This is the method I used when looking for the best monochrome goodies for this giveaway.

Any new boy mom or soon to be mama will be set with these fun essentials. I chose items that I know the modern mama would love: a crib sheet, carseat/nursing cover, door silencer, bowtie, onesie, burp cloth, paci clip, bandana bib, blanket, beanie, teether, leggings and a print for the nursery. If I were to ever have another boy I would definitely decorate the nursery in black and white. This swiss cross crib sheet matched with a white crib is such a cute combo and you can accessorize with various pops of color, and swap out when you want to freshen things up!
Little boys may not have the dresses, tights and hair bows that baby girls have but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible for them to look cute and fashionable. Dressing Henry as a baby and toddler was so fun and there are a ton of amazing small shops on Instagram and Etsy. I often get asked where I find all of Henry’s clothes and about 70% of them come from small shops and are all handmade in the USA, which I love supporting. buy zithromax online https://salempregnancy.org/wp-content/languages/new/zithromax.html no prescription

Valentine’s Boy Style

Nothing could top Henry’s outfit from last year. I mean that Kayne shirt was TOO perfect. He was only 2.5 a year ago and looking back at photos he was so tiny! I miss him being that small. I also miss having a brand new baby but it’s been so fun watching them grow! As boys get older and wilder they need clothes that can keep up with their lifestyle. As cute as a white collard shirt and gingham bowtie would look, let’s be realistic: it’s only a matter of time before red icing and chocolate milk is covering the outfit and no amount of oxi clean will get it out. Henry lives in jeans, joggers and t shirts lately. If we have something special to go to we will pair a button up with jeans and fun shoes. I’m loving the J. Crew Valentine’s Shop this year. They have plenty of festive attire for boys that don’t have hearts and lips everywhere 🙂 buy xenical online https://bethanyhealthcare.org/wp-content/languages/new/xenical.html no prescription
