Our Weekend in Pictures

Our weekend was pretty low key. It rained nearly non stop so it made for a lazy few days. That was fine for us since we have been so busy for nearly the past month. It was nice to have some down time, take naps and veg out. When the sun broke through on Saturday we took Henry for a spin down to our neighborhood playground in his Radio Flyer Wagon that he got for his birthday. Such an amazing gift from his grandmother and he loved it. We also ventured out to have some mexican (our weakness) and Henry had his first cheese quesadilla. We haven’t gone out with him to restaurants lately because all he wants to do it eat! I have to feed that child constantly and as soon as he sees his stash getting low, he starts making his trademark pterodactyl scream. My husband and I literally have to shovel food in our mouths and eat and run. I hope this is just a phase because he was not always like this. We will try again in a month or so. Until then, we will stick to date nights. Oh yeah, another thing that he is newly not a fan of … swings at the park. WTF? When did this happen? I hope this is just (another) phase. 

I love how he holds onto the sides with his little hands. My heart bursts when I see these pictures. One thing that was not captured was how we was holding my hand while daddy was pulling the wagon. There is nothing sweeter than a little boy who loves his mommy <3 

On Sunday we went over to our friends house for Korean BBQ! There were 8 of us and 4 babies so it was definitely a lot of fun. Our hosts were so sweet and prepared the most amazing meal. It was my first time having Korean BBQ and I am hooked. They even prepared fried rice with seaweed for the babies. I ate quite a few bites and Henry loved it (of course). Just like his mama!
