For Easter weekend we went to see Henry’s grandparents in Florida. It’s about a 6-7 hour drive and surprisingly Henry did great. Like I’ve mentioned before, he is obsessed with Monsters University and that literally played the entire time. His 2nd birthday has switched themes and is now, you guessed it, Monsters University. The first few days of the trip it rained (like central Florida tends to do) but the last 2 days were beautiful. Our Henry’s trip was filled with lots of golf cart rides (with Henry saying “weeeee” the entire time), swimming and running around the golf course.
Our last day of the trip we went to the Ocala Breeders Sale to see all the beautiful horses for sale. Henry loved seeing them all, as did my husband. I could had stayed and pet them all afternoon. We saw one horse sell for $270,000 and also saw the colt of Big Brown (who won the Kentucky Derby in 2008).
The trip was a nice getaway but it’s always so good to get back home too. Crazy that tomorrow is the last day of April. Happy almost May!
