Halloween Books for Toddlers

It’s no secret that having kids really lets you enjoy the holidays more. I love decorating and doing as many festive things as possible with our kids during September-December. Halloween is by far my favorite holiday so I really love embracing all the fun traditions. When Henry was 16 months old I started collecting Halloween books for him to read throughout the month of October (similar to the 25 books of Christmas). It’s so fun to add more to our collection each year and now that Evelyn is old enough for books, they have really enjoyed reading them together. Unlike the Christmas books in our collection, the Halloween books are mostly short reads so they hold the kids’ attention span (even it that means I have to read each one five times in a row).
Here is my toddler approved Halloween book list!

What are some of your kids favorite books for Halloween? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. I totally agree, kids really do make the holidays even better! This is a great idea to start collecting holiday books and then pull them out every year and this list is great! Have you heard of The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything? It's an oldie but another good one!

  2. Love the book list for Halloween! I enjoy reading books with my daughter before bed, and I agree Holidays are lots of fun now that I have a little one to share it with 🙂

  3. I'm loving these book ideas! My son recently started preschool and I'm now OBSESSED with ordering scholastic books for him! Ha!

  4. Oh what darling items for baby! I have recently discovered Finn and Emma pajamas and I couldn't love them more. Also the Itzy Ritzy cart cover was a wonderful baby item for us.
