Summer Beauty Must Haves

There are so many products I am loving this summer. We are in the midst of the never-ending heat wave here in Atlanta and these items have been a life saver. I always love finding new products to use so I thought I would share what has been working for me!

Lavanila Deodorant – I’m slowly trying to purge my body of harsh chemicals, including aluminum. I’ve tried a few natural deodorants over the past few months and nothing has even come close to the Vanilla Grapefruit scent. I love how smooth the stick is and it has a cooling feeling after applying. It’s made from 100% all natural ingredients and no harsh chemicals like parabens, sulfates, and synthetic dyes. There are over 10 different scents and I can’t wait to try them all out. The stick seems to last a while and even after working out, I don’t sweat or smell at all. I was hesitant to change to an aluminum free deodorant in fear of stinking up my house but that hasn’t happened yet, whew!Thieves Toothpaste – There isn’t one person out there who hasn’t heard of essential oils. Thieves is one of the most popular oils, known for its cleaning power and immunity support. I love how clean my mouth feels after I brush my teeth. The mouthwash is in the queue for my next order!

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of visiting Urbana Wellness Spa in Atlanta. While I was there I had the opportunity to learn about some of the products they carry and test out their services. Everything was amazing and I cannot wait to go back for a spa day. They carry a line called Image Skincare and I picked up some of the SPF 50 for my face. Usually, I wear an SPF 25 but I have noticed I wasn’t getting as much protection as I need so I opted to try a higher SPF. I cannot rave about this sunscreen enough. It goes on smooth underneath my makeup and leaves no greasy residue. I have combination skin but haven’t broken out once since using this the past month.

Mai Tai Spritzer – If you have a Dry Bar near you I hope you’ve had the chance to get a blowout done. Your hair not only looks amazing but smells incredible too. There are so many Dry Bar products that I love but my favorite for summer is definitely the Mai Tai Spritzer. I rarely blow dry my hair in the summer because the heat and humidity just ruin it as soon as I step outside. I spray this on my damp hair and by the time my hair is dry I have a ton of texture and volume.

Charcoal Konjac Sponge – I’ve been using this scrub sponge since February after receiving it in my Julep box. I love how it gentle it is for everyday use and how it exfoliates my skin. It can be used with any cleanser or oil and makes my skin feel so smooth afterward. I use it at night and follow with a rich night cream so my skin can repair itself while I sleep. *I haven’t been using the same sponge, you need to throw it away after 3 months but the price is great*
buy prednisolone online https://medstaff.englewoodhealth.org/wp-content/languages/new/prednisolone.html no prescription

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water – I saw this in the checkout temptation aisle at Sephora last month and thought I would give it a try. It has a dual use: spray on your face before makeup and also afterward to set your makeup. There is no alcohol in this so it won’t dry your skin and my face never feels oily or heavy. This primer sprays as a mist and even the travel size will last you a long time.

What products can you not go without this summer? I would love to hear in the comments below!

Walkkings Shoes {Review & Coupon!}

Both of my kids have always been early walkers and each took their first steps at 9 1/2 months. Once they figured out they could be mobile upright, they were off and never looked back. I’ve always hated the typical early walker shoes. They are not stylish, super chunky and just flat out boring. I recently came across Walkkings Shoes and was immediately attracted to their sleek design and style. They come in several different colors, can be worn year round and look cute with any outfit.
I have never come across a shoe as functional and inventive as the Walkkings brand. They have done so much research on the health of a child’s foot and developed a shoe made for active and growing children. I love that they contain no toxic dyes and are made with anti-allergic, breathable materials (did you know that children’s feet sweat 3 times more than adult feet?!) buy simvastatin online https://medstaff.englewoodhealth.org/wp-content/languages/new/simvastatin.html no prescription

Most of Evelyn’s shoes can be tough to get onto her squirmy, chubby baby feet. What is so amazing about these shoes is that they all unzip from the sole, completely opening the shoe. They’re so easy to put on and I know she is comfortable in them. She wears them to the park, for evening walks and on play dates. She has become quite the climber and jumper and will literally just jump in place, mostly on our hardwood floors. These shoes are great at supporting her little ankles so she can continue with her toddler acrobats. Readers can get 20% off all shoes with the code EVIE20. If you have a new walker or toddler in your life I highly recommend grabbing a pair of these amazing shoes like those available at this lacoste womens shoes Fashion & Beauty.
They have a 100% money back guarantee but I promise you will love them as much as I do 🙂 buy tadalista online https://medstaff.englewoodhealth.org/wp-content/languages/new/tadalista.html no prescription

Date Night Atlanta: Topgolf

I am so excited to bring you a new blog series today called Date Night Atlanta. This series will cover some of the best places to visit in the Atlanta area that have been tried and tested by me and my hubby. Kicking off the series is our day date at Topgolf. If you haven’t checked out Topgolf than you have been missing out! It is such a great place for date nights, family nights, birthdays or to just go and have some dinner and watch the game. What I love most about it is that you don’t need to know how to play golf whatsoever. Topgolf is like a driving range on steroids and it’s fun for any age. There are several spots across the US so be sure to check the locations and see if there is one near you. Topgolf has so many cool features that I’m not sure you get elsewhere. While it has the Ace Driving Range Netting to stop your balls from flying all over the place, it also has targets you can aim at and compete with whoever you’re with! buy vilitra online https://medstaff.englewoodhealth.org/wp-content/languages/new/vilitra.html no prescription

While it may not be our New Years resolution, my husband and I have tried to set aside one day or night a month where we have a date. Whether it be at a fabulous restaurant or to explore what the city has to offer, making our relationship number one is crucial for a thriving marriage. It’s so easy to get caught up in the day to day lives of working, kids, housework and general adult responsibility. Setting aside time together allows us to reconnect and focus on each other. We love having some drinks at the rooftop bar at Topgolf before going to our bay. They have live music quite often and it’s such a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon. buy zyban online https://medstaff.englewoodhealth.org/wp-content/languages/new/zyban.html no prescription

The food at Topgolf is not your typical bar food. They have so many delicious options. From flat bread pizzas to burgers and sandwiches, there is something for everyone. They also serve brunch which is my favorite meal of the day (try and Chicken & Waffle Sliders!) Since it was past brunching hours, we started off with the Bacon Mac ‘N Cheese Spring Rolls and Craft Beer Queso and Chips. After enjoying some signature cocktails we decided to skip right to dessert. We kept seeing these amazing looking donut holes coming out from the kitchen and knew we had to have them. Turns out they were the Injectable Donut Holes that you can inject with chocolate, raspberry jelly and Bavarian cream. Even if you’re not hungry, you have to order these. They’re life changing! buy Cymbalta online https://medstaff.englewoodhealth.org/wp-content/languages/new/ no prescription

Topgolf has seven different golf games you can play on your bay. My husband and I usually just play the signature game where you score points by hitting into any target. However when my husband goes with his friends they usually play more experienced games like Top Drive and Top Shot. During football season this is the best place to go and watch all the games, have some drinks, order yummy food and enjoy the crisp Fall air. All bays are climate-controlled making Topgolf fun year round.
If you’re looking for a fun day or night activity with your spouse, be sure to check out Topgolf. Now that I’m officially a golf & donut injectable pro I’ll be back every weekend! Thank you Topgolf for such a fun date!

18 Months Toy Roundup

Sometimes I forget how hard it can be to keep two toddlers entertained all day long. We have so many toys between Henry and Evelyn that our house sometimes feels like a Toys R Us. It can be system overload for a baby or young child when they have too many options to choose from. It’s like going into H&M and sorting through a thousand garment racks just to find a dress (all while listening to extremely loud music). Before Henry’s 4th birthday we did a toy purge and decided to keep mostly educational toys like puzzles, blocks, pretend play items and other things that really get their imagination rolling. Evelyn has become bored with the toys we have and has also grown out of most of them. I think the reason why she was becoming so fussy is due to the lack of stimulation. I started researching educational toys and the last thing I wanted was something that made a ton of noise or flashed lights like a night club. Here are some wonderful, handmade alternatives I found which she is loving lately. They are also all made in the USA with love. I’ll be sharing my favorite educational toys for age 4 next week! buy abilify online https://medstaff.englewoodhealth.org/wp-content/languages/new/abilify.html no prescription
Sensory Stuffed Toys – These shapes and blocks from Made in the Trees are stuffed with a bell, rattle or crinkle paper to spark interest in little minds. Their fun, soft colors and patterns provide stimulation for growing brains. They are super soft and eye catching too!

Felt Play Food – For her first birthday we bought the Kid Kraft kitchen, obviously a toy she could grow into and use for years. I’ve always been a fan of felt food, probably because I have major sewing envy. This adorable banana split ice cream set and these hand knit donuts are adorable and so fun to play with. I will even catch Henry “baking” with them in the kitchen 🙂

Soft Picture Blocks – These big blocks are so well constructed and filled with bright colors and playful patterns. One of the blocks has a cat on the side and I’m sure you can guess that is Evelyn’s favorite one. She laughs immediately once she sees it and is always looking for that one block. These are great for the early stages of letter recognition and can grow with your child once they start learning the alphabet. When Evelyn goes to bed at night, Henry likes to take these blocks and have a “who can throw more blocks at each other party” with my husband. Thank goodness they are soft! buy aceon online https://medstaff.englewoodhealth.org/wp-content/languages/new/aceon.html no prescription

Summer Days

Is there anything worse than the humid southern heat? And is there anything better than fresh watermelon on a hot summer day? Since Henry will be starting Pre-K in August, I decided that June would be his last month of preschool, so that we could all spend time together in July. Having both kids alone five days a week is definitely a challenge but I know these moments are fleeting so I am really trying to enjoy them. This month we have swim lessons planned for Henry, a family trip to Athens, movie dates with friends and lots of indoor park play (give me that AC!) I can’t believe Evelyn will be 18 months old on the 10th and Henry just turned 4. They are both finally at an age where they like to be around each other. Henry constantly makes her laugh and has really taken to this older brother thing. He teaches her words, gets her sippy cups full of water and generally likes to boss her around, which she loves. I cannot wait to see their relationship grow and I’m really thankful that they let me take their pictures so I can document these sweet moments. I love this stage that they’re both in and wish I could freeze time, since they are changing every day. Why does childhood have to go by so fast? buy adalat online https://medstaff.englewoodhealth.org/wp-content/languages/new/adalat.html no prescription

I can’t get over her face in this last picture! She was having trouble figuring out how to eat the watermelon and was super frustrated. I love capturing their personalities and living in an age where it is totally acceptable to document everything your kids do. I’m definitely going to be that PTA mom that is constantly participating in every classroom activity 🙂 buy advair online https://medstaff.englewoodhealth.org/wp-content/languages/new/advair.html no prescription

Happy Fourth of July!

Happy Fourth of July! I hope you are all enjoying your holiday weekend. We’re in Charleston visiting family and despite the heat and humidity, it’s been so fun. Sidetone: How do girls wear face makeup here? I can hardly step outside without sweating immediately so I’ve been rocking the top knot and mascara only look for a few days. I wanted to give you a little table inspiration this morning in case you’re hosting family or friends today. Creating a table scape for a party does not have to be stressful or extravagant. Even though there are tons of fabulous homemade recipes out there for holiday themed food, I recommend going to the store and buying pre-made desserts and food that don’t require much prep. Target & Publix were my go to for decor items and food and all I had to do was plate the goods! While you’re shopping you can drop off balloons to have inflated which add the perfect touch to your gathering. These adorable bomb pop balloons are from an etsy shop which has a ton of great mylar options. How cute is this hot dog balloon for a summer cookout? I added this rag garland to the front of the table but it would also look cute draped along a wall for a backdrop or Photo Booth. So, grab some beers, brats and cupcakes and get your Fourth of July party started today! buy alphagan online https://medstaff.englewoodhealth.org/wp-content/languages/new/alphagan.html no prescription
